| Storm 6"x6" on Archival Board Available unframed or framed For a Larger View, Click Here I've been in a creative Funk! Partly because the days are short and my energy is low. Partly because I've been learning/teaching myself to paint glass and none are suitable for viewing yet. When I am in a Really BIG creative Funk I turn to painting the Sun. I don't know what it is about the Sun? But it is the one thing that I can sit down and start off the same way every time and just let them flow out of me. Each one comes out in it's own unique way and I never have a clue as to what it is really going to look like until the muse says to me I am finished. They don't take me very long to do and they are quite relaxing to paint. I Love their fiery color and the wonderful texture they get due to my use of the palette knife. As we get closer to the winter solstice and deep in the dark of the longest night. Sing to the newborn Sun and may this fiery Sun Storm warm you from within. Please feel free to hang out in the warmth and fiery energy of this sun and then pass it along to someone else who might be in the need of it's energy as well. |

Hang Time
![]() |
| Hang Time 6"x6" Oil on Archival Board Available Framed or Unframed For a Larger View, Click Here Hang Time, makes me think of a surfer trying to Hang onto a wave. This little Sun Jelly is doing it's own version of Hang Time. Just Hanging out waiting for the next Ebb or Flow of the surf to move it along. I just love painting these Sun Jellies! There's just something so relaxing and serene about them, yet they are full of life and color. Makes me just want to sit there for hours and watch a whole tank full of them just floating around. Please feel free to take a few moments and hang out with Hang Time. Enjoy. |

Dreaming in SunFlowers

As the Shortest day of the Year approaches
I start to Dream in
SunFlowers.
Must have something to do with
only seeing the sun
for a few hours each day.
To me, the Sun is Mecca, something I desperately need
on a daily basis
The sun gives me Energy and Life.
With the short days upon us,
I need the
Happiness and Cheer
these wonderful sunny flowers bring to me.
My own Personal Pick Me Up.

Fall Foliage
![]() |
| Fall Foliage 6"x6" Original Oil on Board, Palette Knife Painting For a Larger View, Click Here Looking back on painting these Palm Trees in non-traditional colors I think my New England heritage was making an Appearance. Though I may be living in the desert these days my heart will always be in New England in the Fall. So I guess it was only natural for me to combine my fascination with the Palm Trees of my current surrondings with my love for the colors of New England in the fall. |

To date this is my one and only
"Jelly" that is
Not
painted in Yellows,
As well as,
the only one that has company
on the canvas.
It also has a couple of other
Differences
that all the other "JellyFish" don't have.
Can you see any of the other differences?

Part Male, Part Female
100% Sensual
I consider this "entity" to be of the JellyFish realm
however,
I am see it both
floating in Outer Space
as well as
floating in the Deep Sea.
I also see the JellyFish
as both
Embracing itself
and
Unraveling it's tendrils
in search of it's next
Adventure
