| Emerging 8"x16" Original Oil on Archival board $200 Click for a Closer View After doing "traditional" type paintings in February I felt the strong desire and need to get back to my Roots. The longing to paint something from my own creative visions. I've been playing with this piece in my sketchbook and it kept calling to me, Paint me, Paint me. So I did. I originally thought of it to be not only a sensual piece but also a very feminine piece. Then after it was painted I realized there was a definite combination of Both male and female qualities in this painting. However, for me, there is definitely a female emerging. I also see myself playing with the theme more in the future and seeing where it takes me. Thanks for letting me share my art with you. As always, I Love comments and followers. Part Male, Part Female
100% Sensual
I consider this "entity" to be of the JellyFish realm
however,
I am see it both
floating in Outer Space
as well as
floating in the Deep Sea.
I also see the JellyFish
as both
Embracing itself
and
Unraveling it's tendrils
in search of it's next

Tumbling Series, A Closer Look
![]() |
| Tumbling 1 from the Tumbling Series of 4 Each piece is 12"x12" Oil on Canvas For a closer view or to Purchase Click Here |
Technically, Tumbling 1 is actually the last of the 4 that I painted. If you compare the bodies of the 4 this one has a less "speckled" effect. I am not sure why? But somewhere deep inside the muse just guides me intuitively and that's the way it appears on the canvas. I can never paint something the same way twice which is fine as each "jellyfish" is different and has it's own unique personality.
Yes, I do refer to them as jellyfish though they started out as a vision in my head and have morphed over time. I actually see them to reside both in the Ocean and Deep Space. Though you are welcome to see them as something else and somewhere else.
You may ask, why did I name this one number 1? To me, it just feels like it's the One that is starting the tumbling and goes head over heels from there. What do you think?
