| Fall Foliage 6"x6" Original Oil on Board, Palette Knife Painting For a Larger View, Click Here Looking back on painting these Palm Trees in non-traditional colors I think my New England heritage was making an Appearance. Though I may be living in the desert these days my heart will always be in New England in the Fall. So I guess it was only natural for me to combine my fascination with the Palm Trees of my current surrondings with my love for the colors of New England in the fall. |

Been having a little love affair with Palm Trees as of late.
Love the easy breezy relaxed way they have about them.
Their graceful sway,
The I don't have a care in the world sound.
Just makes you want to sit under one and enjoy a coconut cocktail.
So I decided it might be fun to play with some Palm Trees in the studio.
There's the more traditional palm,
colors and style.
And
The less traditional with loose free knife strokes
using purple and pink colors.
